On Thursday, President Donald Trump approved a Major Disaster Declaration for the State of Kansas, triggering federal funds to help communities recover from severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding that have occurred over the past two months. Last week Rep. Roger Marshall, M.D. led a bi-partisan letter from all Members of the Kansas House delegation encouraging the administration to approve Governor Laura Kelly’s request for federal assistance.

This bipartisan legislation directs the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to conduct a study on the role pharmaceutical benefit managers (PBMs) play in the drug supply chain and serves as a companion to existing Senate efforts.
