Rep. Marshall Supports Proposal to Modernize Medicare and Restore Doctor-Patient Relationships
Washington D.C.- The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced several changes it hopes to make to decrease administrative burdens on doctors. Dr. Marshall fully supports the CMS proposal.
“Quality patient care shouldn’t be compromised for paperwork," Rep. Marshall said. "I am proud of the work being done by the Administration that will reduce unnecessary reporting harming the patient-physician relationship. The proposed rule released by CMS would drastically streamline the administrative tasks for docs and, as a result, will be the single largest reduction in burden on physicians in American history.”
