Marshall holds 4th most town halls out of all of Congress
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Recently, Legistorm posted total numbers of town halls held by each Member of Congress. Congressman Roger Marshall, M.D., has held 55 this year - the 3rd most in the House of Representatives, and the 4th most out of any Member of Congress.
"Holding town halls, roundtables, and visiting communities is one of the most important things I can do to adequately represent Kansans," Congressman Marshall said. "As a freshman Congressman, I have tried to consistently reach out to stakeholders and constituents to hear their thoughts on legislation that will impact them. As their representative, it is my job to hear them out, whether I agree with them or not."
Recently, in addition to his regular Listening Tour stops, the Congressman held a Farm Bill Listening Tour across the district to listen to producers and community members discuss their ideas and concerns on ag and nutrition policy.
